2010 Upward Basketball & Cheerleading Schedule

Picture Day Schedule (February 6th)
Got Game?
Well, you can get game if you would commit to these 3 steps:

1. Listen To Your COACH!
You can't get any better at anything unless you learn from others who have either been there, or know how to get there.  Even Michael Jordan needed coaches!

2. Practice Perfectly
Contrary to popular belief, practice doesn't make perfect.  Only perfect practice makes perfect!  Practice some bad habit enough, and you'll get really good at that bad habit.  Instead, practice what you learned from your coaches, and commit to getting better.  It's not "just practice!"  You want game? You got to earn it!

3. Envision Success
No one can get game unless they got IT first.  IT being confidence.  But IT only arrives after you have listened to your coach, practiced perfectly, and committed to getting better. Confidence doesn't happen overnight.  It builds up with each experience you face.  Never give up.  Michael Jordan was cut from his high school varsity basketball team when he was in 10th grade.  He is now a 6-time NBA champion, a Hall-of-Famer, and was recently voted by fans as the best basketball player ever to play the game.
